Daniel S. J. Choy, M.D.
Dr. Daniel S. J. Choy has been a medical pioneer for over 40 years and holds patents on several groundbreaking products to treat a variety of medical conditions. Some of his most notable and well-recognized work has been in the medical application of lasers—specifically
in the areas of cardiology and spine surgery.
Dr. Choy is a member of the staffs of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He is a member of numerous professional medical organizations and currently serves as Secretary of the Section on Bioengineering of the New York Academy of Medicine. He is a founding member of the American Board of Laser Surgery and serves as a reviewer for two distinguished medical publications, The New England Journal of Medicine and Lancet.
